I love photographing children, they are so full of joy and enthusiasm, catching them in action is perfection. I like to get to know the kids during a session and pride myself on being a kid friendly photographer with lots of patience. Having four children of my own I know how stressful getting pictures taken can be. I strive to keep my sessions full of fun and smiles.

We may take a break and read a story, blow some bubbles, or play a silly game to break up the monotony of the session. Family sessions usually take an hour so by the time we are finished kids might be annoyed without out fun filled little breaks. Their personalities will not shine if they are not having fun.

Portraits for Children

 My goal is that your children are having fun. When they are enjoying the portrait creation process they are more likely to reveal their true personalities to me, which is essential to capture the perfect portrait.

I have extensive experience with children and patience to boot. Your session will never be rushed. Being a mother of four, as well as a daycare owner for 5 years I have learned to interact with children in a way that makes them comfortable. My goal is that your children leave with a desire to come visit me again for more pictures.
